Got Questions?

Are you open?

Yes! We reopened on the 15th August with new measures in place to manage COVID transmission. As of the 8th August the government requires everyone who visits to wear a face-covering for the duration of their visit. If you need to, you can contact us here.

Can we play with people outside our "support bubble"?

Yes. The government guidelines state: You can also meet in a group of 2 households (anyone in your support bubble counts as one household), in any location ‒ public or private, indoors or outdoors. This does not need to be the same household each time.

Do we have to wear a face covering?

Yes. As of the 8th August the government introduced legislation that requires customers over the age of 11 years old to wear a face-covering from the time they arrive until they depart. We fall into the "visitor attractions and entertainment venues" in the government guidance

Is there an age limit?

Our escape rooms are designed for adults and are challenging to complete. We do allow children over the age of 11 to play as part of a team with at least 1 adult.

For groups with adults in, anyone over the age of 11 will be able to contribute. We can only allow groups of children aged 16+ to play without an adult. Groups of children between 11 and 16 MUST have an adult participating in the room with them as part of the 6 players; so 5 children and 1 adult is fine, we do not allow 6 children playing on their own.

The rooms are challenging for children. There may be points at which you are stuck with what to do next, but don't worry we will happily help you along with unlimited clues. The content of both rooms is appropriate for children.

Can I bring more than 6 players?

No. Our games are designed for a maximum of 6 players and we cannot accommodate more than 6. If you have a larger party you can book both of our rooms at the same time for a max of 12 players.

Where are you located?

What is your cancellation policy?

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE

If you are worried about visiting for your game, rest assured we've already put in place several measures to help you maintain your hygiene. The NHS advises everyone to "wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds" This is a very effective method of keeping yourself free from the COVID-19 virus. We have soap and hot water available. We are also cleaning areas of high volume touching in the room between games.

CANCELLATION

During this difficult time, we've made a significant temporary change to our cancellation policy to give you more flexibility. If your booking is within 2 weeks just let us know if you'd like to reschedule or refund to a gift voucher and we'll do this for you with NO CHARGE and no expiry on the gift voucher. Contact us if you'd like to reschedule. *We reserve the right to change this policy back to the original terms at any time, but it is unlikely to revert before 31st March 2020.

We try to be as flexible as possible when you need to make a change. If you're more than 2 weeks away from your booking then we'll be able to reschedule you, or refund your booking to your method of payment or a gift voucher (whichever suits). For bookings happening within 2 weeks of your request we'll either reschedule you or refund to a gift voucher. Due to staff costs we are unable to reschedule or refund bookings cancelled within a week of their start date. See new policy (due to COVID-19) above.

How do I redeem a gift voucher?

Select a slot you'd like to book and go through to payment. Here, at the top you can use the gift voucher code. If you have an off-peak voucher and want to select a peak time then the balance difference will be payable at this point.

Your experience will last around 90 minutes, including a short briefing beforehand, and a chat about how it went. You’ll have 60 minutes to solve the room and escape. How accessible is the escape room?

In Guildford

Unfortunately, in Guildford, we have no wheelchair access. We're on the 3rd floor, so access is via a stairwell.During the game, there's no excessive physical activity required, but to solve the rooms at least one team member has to have reasonably good eye sight. We do play music and sound effects; however, these are not essential for solving the rooms.

In Dorking

Our Dorking location isn't open yet but our first 2 rooms there will be accessible to wheelchairs and are on the ground floor.

Please let us know if there is anything we might be able to do to assist in your visit.
